Review of Out of the Furnace (2013) by Jake K — 05 Oct 2014

Going into the theatre I was expecting a bit more action from this movie from what I saw in previews but the wonderful acting by Bale and Affleck and the brilliant cinematography made me forget about my original thoughts as the film progressed.

By the end I was happy that this was more of a drama that focused on a man who would stop at nothing to find his brother who has gone missing rather than focus on mindless fighting between Harrelson and Bale (Harrelsons role was fantastic as well).

When it reaches its ending you'll realize why some matters should just be taken into your hands.
