Review of Out of the Furnace (2013) by Dave W — 26 Sep 2018
Plenty of subtle symbology between the two principals in this modern day Hatfield/McCoy yarn. The cast is top notch. You can really tell they dug this script. The director respects his audience by not spoon feeding them the story.
Finally, we're treated with a smart protagonist that has to work hard for what I think is the ending I was looking for in se7en, but didn't get.
