Review of Out of Africa (1985) by Simon M — 27 Jul 2008
I was loaned this after director Sydney Pollack's death earlier this year, when I commented I'd not seen this yet. I'm happy to say that this is very good film thanks to the performances of Streep, Brandauer and yes even Redford who is never my cup of tea acting-wise.
In addition, there's beautiful cinematography and a wonderful music score by the legendary John Barry.
