Review of Out of Africa (1985) by Todd B — 30 Jul 2014
The cinematography is gorgeous and this is obviously a well made movie but it drags on for far too long and it tells the story of a romance I couldn't care less about. Meryl Streep, as always, is lovely, but I'm not really sure what accent she was going for here.
Though I admire the movie cinematically, this movie left me untouched.
