Review of Out of Africa (1985) by Zach R — 10 Feb 2013
This was the only Best Picture Oscar winner of the last 45years that I hadn't seen. For the most part I liked it, the visuals/landscape are fantastic, Streep is excellent as well. My issues were that it felt too long and I didn't much care for Redford's character or performance.
See it if you like sweeping romantic epics with a strong visual back-drop.
