Review of Out for Justice (1991) by Seong P — 21 Nov 2007
Typical Seagal movie formula. Seagal kicks everyone's asses. Cusses a lot. Novelty fight scenes & deaths. Brilliant & nutty villain.
Fun all the way through though. Definitely one of Seagal's best movies. His attire was hilarious when he arrived on the scene after Bobby's death.
The cue ball wrapped in a towel/bandana/whatever was amazing.
The opening is hilarious...especially when Seagal pauses after throwing the pimp through the windshield & stares right into the camera through the broke windshield: STEVEN SEAGAL.
Seagal blows a dude's leg off at the knee.
Tattoos is one of the best henchmen ever.
I love how Seagal just beat the shit out of Madano during the final battle. Talk about one-sided! Then he gets a corkscrew to the forehead then shoot a few times.
And the beginning of the end credits were basically a huge stroke of Seagal's ego: close-ups of his face & clips of him being a total bad ass.
And the lesson we learned from Out For Justice: Don't throw dogs in garbage bags out of the window of a moving car. You'll get kicked in the nuts for it.
