81% critic score on RT and a 68% audience score on Flixster? Really? This starts off very strong and the set up is really good, but after the little girl gets possessed in the most heavy handed of scenes, that ends up being unintentionally hilarious, it just descends into lunacy.
The scares are forced and yes they make you jump just because of REALLY LOUD NOISES!!!!!!!!! I did like the reveal of who the evil spirit was but its played so forcefully its just not scary, you end up laughing at most of the horror scenes.
. its just too silly. The ending is also predictable and laughable.
