Lulu Wilson's excellent performance pulls this movie to thrilling highs. Ouija: Origin of Evil is yet another horror riding off the success of Lights Out & The Conjuring 2. An old-fashioned atmosphere set nearly 50 years earlier from the original.
The film certainly works as a stand-alone story, but never quite reaches the standards of 2016 strong showcase of horror. Ouija arrives perfectly for Halloween; horror fans this is a must watch.
