Review of Ouija: Origin of Evil (2016) by Marc V — 26 Oct 2016
Starts of really well and has potential to be really good then just turns into a badly crafted mess. It's not really scary, a few moments that make you jump but noting major. Very little psychological development of the themes so it just doesn't "get under your skin".
Once the so called "horror" gets going their are holes in the badly written story you could drive a bus through. It's just a mash up of things from lots of other films. A shame as the young girl is a great actress but clearly the director is a spotty 16yo with no life experience.
Not worth splashing the cash at the cinema, better wait for it on TV.
