The "Viji Board" has been a part of many our childhood memories! It was the fear & fictional understanding which used to drive us to play a board game about contacting spirits. Keeping that memory in mind, watching a movie about the same is a pretty good reason to add this film into your watch list! Normally when you see a PG-13 horror movie come out, it's either going to totally suck, or rock.

Well you guessed it right, this Michael Bay produced horror film is pretty bad! The story is pretty simple, a bunch good looking/no-named actors (most of them in their late 20's) play teenagers, who think it's a logical idea to play with an Ouija board after one of their friends dies from, well while playing with an Ouija board! Ten minutes into the movie, things start spiraling downwards, as we sit through these worthless characters who are systematically getting picked off, one by one; but not in any cool "Final Destination" way, but in the dullest, least terrifying way imaginable.

Honestly, I love these type of flicks because of the chills, and jumps they induce. Well, this movie didn't present any any of those, for all the jump scares, there wasn't any buildup, and it's predictability was unparalleled.

The acting is pretty average, with the lead Olivia Cooke being the only one who actually had some scope, considering the idiotic script. The films also has a cameo from Lin Shaye (Insidious). Overall, there isn't much more to say about this film without becoming redundant.

Ouija is a horrible, terribly written, and atrociously directed excuse of a horror film.
