Had the right idea about how to mix comedy/horror, but somehow got off track along the way. Went on for too long, but did manage to do a good job of making the killer seem pretty sympathetic (take that, Rob Zombie! You douche.
) yet not making him seem like someone to root for. Really good soundtrack featuring Talking Heads and Devo (both very prominently in the movie). Good cast does the best they can, but it somehow doesn't gel towards the end.
Worth seeing for the cool first half, though.
