Review of Otis (2008) by Pete B — 15 May 2009
This is the strangest horror film and the most funny (in a very twisted way). The film is about a simpleton who longs to be loved but unfortunately chooses to kidnap women in the hopes of one day getting a women to take him to the prom.
His brother played by actor Kevin Pollack is a big tool who beats and miss treats his idiot brother possibly leading to his twisted state. The film is about Otis(the simpleton) who kidnaps the wrong girl a brainy girl with an insanely vengeful family and the chaos that comes from this.
This is not to be taken seriously thou the abuse of women is not funny but none the less this film manages to find a dark humor in this very dark topic. There are some bits where the script seems to get lost but other than those parts the film is not bad at all.
