Most people missed this movie because it was made in Afghanistan (with English subtitles.) But it is worth renting because it reveals the truth about the barbaric treatment of women under militant Islam.
It is based on the true story of a 12-year-old girl who suffers abuse during the reign of the Taliban regime after she is forced to pretend to be a boy to make money for her family. It's painful, but it will wake you up to a sad reality.
