Wonderful direction and imagery. The visual metaphors are beautiful and moving. This film is not for those of weak heart. It is honest, tragic and bleak. The hope has been stamped out of these women's lives.
Not to mention the indoctrination of boys into the cult of the Taliban. Several of the shots are breath taking. I highly recommend this film.
