It has a few scares, it has some decent acting, and is has some nice tension and terror as well. So what sets it apart from any other horror film? I can't recommend this movie because it is so unbelievably predictable and nothing sets it apart from other horror movies.
That being said its better than a lot of the crap out there *cough* Saw series *cough*, and the acting isnt bad at all, it just im guessing every single scene about whats going to happen next so there isnt really much surprise.
And of course the twist comes as in every other horror movie, but I didn't care for it too much. My friend even guessed the ending about 45 minutes in. The movie is overlong and some cuts couldve been made, but its just not worth your 9 bucks these days.
Orphan is okay, but not good enough to waste some money on. Thumbs down.
