Review of Orlando (2007) by Eden L — 26 Aug 2007
Orlando was the story of a person who lived for 200 years as a man and then the following 200 years as a woman. The movie showed the solitude and loneliness this wealthy individual experienced in England. First as a wealthy Lord who lived in a large mansion, then as the woman who eventually had her home and property stolen after the royalty found out he/she became a woman.
The costumes were very creative.
The movie was based off of a book by Virginia Wolf. I felt that a lot was missing in the movie. This must have been a long, complicated book.
