Review of Orlando (2007) by Timothy C — 24 Sep 2007
The Lord Orlando is one of the most eligible batchelors in all of England. Favourite to the aging Queen Elizabeth the first, he is promised his lands in exchange for a vow to never fade or grow old.
So begins the 400 year journey of Orlando as he deals with Love, Loss, poetry, rejection, friendship, war, society, sex and the beurocracy of the government when has the audacity to become a woman.
Tilda Swinton is an absolute delight as Orlando, as are most of the supporting characters.
The film is witty and beautifully crafted in almost every.
More people should see this utter delight of a film!!!
