Review of Orlando (2007) by Brad H — 28 Feb 2009
I'm giving it 4 stars because of the sumptuous visuals and equally stunning soundtrack. Had to add this film to my favorites, as it's an important part of my personal mythology. But as years pass, I'm less and less enchanted (and more confused -- as in Why?) with what Sally Potter has done to the original story.
Do watch this gorgeous film, but know Virginia Woolf's Orlando is even more stunning.
