Orlando: The 'Women On Film' module continues with Sally Potters odd, time-travelling prodigy of Tilda Swinton. The evolution of woman here and the gender-bending (also starring Quentin Crisp) is rather a unique concept but is bandered about so bluntly that it takes up half the films running time and quirks.

Style over substance it may be, but there is no denying the connection with Swinton's character, often breaking the fourth wall and essentially playing a whole host of different characters with ease in different timeframes.

Potter's best element here is the division of the film into small parisodic episodes that are simple defined by title such as 'Sex' or 'Politics', and you are sure to find one enjoyable and know that one which you aren't will soon be over.

Good attempt if partly faulted experiement. 61/100.
