Review of Origin: Spirits of the Past (2006) by Jeffrey G — 16 Jul 2008
Lush to look at and including some brilliantly imaginative and quirky landscapes, costumes and contraptions, and with a good ecological theme, but suffers through stereotypical characters and a stupidly helpless 'girl from the past' character.
Looks as good as Miyazaki here and there, but needs a bit of a better story.
