"Raging Bull" was what it was, but this movie is on another level. Redford did his homework, conjuring nuances that exemplify the complexities of humanity, even under supposed ordinary circumstances.
Young Timothy Hutton gives my second-favorite male performance ever. Moore and Sutherland also transcend their roles.
