Review of Ordinary People (1980) by Eric S — 27 Nov 2008
A heartwarming movie at times but also a heartbreaking movie. It looks at how one family deals with the lose of a son. The mother, Mary Tyler Moore shows she can be a serious actor and hits the ball out of the park.
Donald Sutherland was amazing as the father who was trying to move on. But the true soul of the movie was Timothy Hutton who was the brother-- simply amazing. I recommend this movie to everyone because it shows true grief being handled in real ways.
