A masterpiece! Timothy Hutton may have walked away with the Oscar, but it was Mary Tyler Moore, as the ultimate ice wasp Beth, that walks away with the movie!! Stunning performance. Anyone who has lost someone in the prime of their youth will walk away with something from this movie.
Deservingly beat "Raging Bull" as the Best Picture of 1981. Robert Redford also won the Oscar for his direction.
