When I see a movie with an over abundence of 4-5 star ratings, My impulse is to see what all the hype is, Ordinary People was just average.
It's only Highlight was Timothy Hutton and Donald Sutherlands performance. I don't blame the actors- the fault lies with the Director.
Sure the movie covered some really serious and tragic matter, Honestly it was no deeper then Pollack and his overrated paintings. I shed no tears and felt no sympathy.
