Review of Orca (1977) by Riki M — 27 Jun 2013
I love this film for what it is, a revenge/redemption story. I always felt this story could've been better if Nolan was the drunk driver who accidentally killed his family. That way his killing the Orca's family would've been a vicious cycle, making him wanting to die by the Orca's jaws as payment for his sins.
It's still a pretty good film. I'd say really watch the film for its undertones and you just may find it enjoyable.
