Review of Orange County (2002) by Lucas Y — 16 Mar 2009
Orange County does incorporate a lot of lame MTV gags & choreographed dancing numbers, but Jack Black's character is great. He steals every scene he's in. I die every time I see him throw that cup of piss across the room while his brother is getting interviewed for Stanford.
Colin Hanks and Sissy Spacek's daughters love story was kind of stupid, but it's a PG-13 comedy aimed towards high school kids. The rest of the cast and cameos are all solid. If I didn't have my mother, I'd want Catherine O'Hara to be.
