Review of Operation Petticoat (1959) by James — 02 Sep 2008
Tony Curtis and Cary Grant (The two most beautiful men of Hollywood's Golden age. I'm straight) star in this very funny comedy about the bad luck of having women on board. In WW2 there was neither space or respect for them on a submarine, and this movie might give you the reasons why.
Anyway it is smart, and at many points very funny. An absolute gem.
