Review of Operation Pacific (1951) by Javier M — 04 Oct 2009
For a war film, there is way too much focus on John Wayne's romance with Patricia Neal, which is really not that interesting. As a war film, it's a bit to gung ho and doesn't always ring true, but there are some good sequences, just not enough of them.
And John Wayne simply can't act.
