Review of Operation Mincemeat (2022) by Bradmorgan — 27 May 2022
Operation Mincemeat failed to convince in the film format. The story is beautiful and almost unbelievable how they managed this in times of war. However, the film itself is disappointing and almost boring.
The entire story focuses on the relationships between the people who set up this operation. It would have been better if we had seen the journey of the false documents. In the end, the side from the Germans is hardly exposed.
A missed opportunity as they also made strategic choices based on the operation. All in all, a good but uneventful film.
