Review of Operation Finale (2018) by Lacey C — 27 Aug 2018
Suspenseful and well acted, this depiction of the events that led up to capturing War Criminal Adolf Eichmann (Ben Kingsley) is told from the story Peter Malkin (Oscar Isaac). Although some details are lost, the overall story flows well and the dramatization of this story is easy to follow.
Replete with flashback scenes and inner thoughts from Malkin's POV the losses endured during WWII are poignant. Distracting however is Ben Kingsley's "youthful" makeup in the flashbacks.
The chemistry between Isaac and Kingsley is palpable.
