Gotta love a Disney representation of Vietnam. Other the jungle landscapes and Asian looking people, not much in this can be taken as Vietnam. The plot is dumb and trite. You think the Army had enough problems in Vietnam then to go looking for some damn elephant for a villiage.
Still is kind of funny to see my boy Denis Leary is moves primarily aimed at kids. I love bringing this movie and talking about how great it is to my one friend because he hates this movie. I don't think its good in any way, but it is just funny to see his reaction.
