Review of Opera (1987) by Josh S — 15 Jun 2007
Glorious style, as typical of the great Argento's films, runs all through this taught thriller - perhaps the last of Argento's big masterpieces. I am aparently one of the few that actually enjoys the pounding metal music that Argento uses during the shock sequences.
Oh well, Opera is still a powerful nail-biter well worth savoring for fans of Italian horror.
