Review of Opera (1987) by Johan A — 18 Jun 2008
This is probably Dario Argento's second best. Its definitely not perfect in any way. Acting is bad and dialogue, bland. But there is some odd kind of suspense. It is really exciting to be in this movie.
It has some strong imagery and in a weird sense it is really kind of poetic. At the end of the day it is really a quite thin giallo-style horror movie.....with something extra.
