Review of Opera (1987) by Paul E — 21 Sep 2008
Could have been one of Argento's best if it wasn't so inconsistent. There are brilliant bits, and there are terrible bits. What the hell is that ending all about? I quite like it, in a way, but I'm not sure what is has to do with the rest of the film.
Er, brilliant! Some very nasty murders in this one, and lots of eye gouging. Eeugh.
