Review of Opera (1987) by Paul Of The Future — 30 Mar 2008
Another Argento masterpiece.stylish, the music was cool, though I would have loved a goblins soundtrack, but thrash metal during the murders threw a curveball. but the idea of binding the main character and making her watch the murders was genius.
every argento film I see I end up liking or loving, a very hitchcockian piece, and the movie doesn't fall short after the reveal of the killer, which usually is a problem with most horror. Taped nails under the eyelids.
.a must See.
