Review of Open Water (2004) by Milno — 30 Mar 2009
I always like films that are based on true events. And what a tragic story this was. Stramded in shark infested waters. basically your dinner, lunch or breakfast. I just felt so sorry for the characters and willing for someone to save them. I couldn't belive how long it took the company who had orgnaised the trip to realise they had people missing.
I thought the filming was clever, no flashy cgi etc.. Very good use of the camera, Was as though you were with them. The 2 main actors I thought did really well to keep you engrossed in the film as it was mainly them in it.
Overall a very good drama film. Filmed on a lovely location.
