I don't get it. They had enough money to go shoot at an exotic location with different actor and vehicles, but they couldn't afford a decent camera and microphone? Open Water doesn't look "minimalistic", just plain cheap.
And in the end, this movies is not even that exciting. Boy, what a drag! Don't waste your time with this one.
