Review of Open Water 2: Adrift (2006) by Nimantha U — 25 Sep 2009
I totally enjoyed the experience of this movie. It felt like I was in the water with them. I loved many scenes of the film. The camera moves were pretty good too. Though I doubt the fact that this was made based on true incidents (maybe very very very loosely based on some), it makes you think of the possibility of this kind of thing happening in real life and how you would react under such tense situations.
This movie has many 'filmmaking' faults but they did not trouble me since the tension it created was very sufficient to sit through the entire 90 minutes. It has to be said that the end was a little confusing, which is why I rated this four stars instead of five.
