Review of Open Range (2003) by Jordan T — 25 Jun 2008
Every recent film in this genre claims to be "the best western since Unforgiven", this really is. Not for everyone, none of the modern themes you'll find in 'the proposition' or 'three burials' are present, this is the vision of the west that Costner shares with Legends like Ford and Huston.
.. and Duvall is superb, as always.
