Review of Open Range (2003) by Michael H — 03 Jul 2009
For every Postman there is an Open Range. Costner surely has a bit of talent (acting and behind the camera) but i'm not sure if he will make a film as good as this. Dances with Wolves was good but outstayed its welcome.
Employing Duvall, one of the best character actors around was a genius decision and as biased as I am (western lover) this is a good one.
