Review of Only the Lonely (1991) by Jennifer M — 27 Jun 2007
Just saw this again recently. For me, it was one of those classics that I watched over and over when I was younger. And it was hilariously funny. Just a trip down memory lane; the kinda film that you never get sick of.
If you don't know what happens, it's basically about this guy (J. Candy) who's in his late 30's, never married and is controlled by his mom. He starts dating this girl and obviously conflict arises.
John Candy at some of his best. And most of all, even though I hate most romantic comedies, this was a really good one. And timeless.
