Sure, the idea of Chris Columbus "updating" Paddy Chayefsky is a little alarming, but this still ends up in the plus column. John Candy and Ally Sheedy are adorable together, it's set in Chicago, and it actually contains the punchline "What if it's a rapist dressed like Elmer Fudd?".
