Unlike "Pusher" & "Drive", "Only God Forgives" suffers greatly from style over substance. It's too clunky, needlessly sadistic and little to no character development.
Even Ryan Gosling & Kristen Scott Thomas, who both are usually delivering great performances, are completely phoned in. The only saving grace is its Thai boxing scene and not much else.
