I had high hopes going into Only God Forgives. I thought the critiques were harsh on this movie because they didn't understand refn. but I was wrong. The movie is a jumble, with horrible cinematography and a weak and undiscovered plot.
Only God Forgives had only a few good scenes, and I mean like three, and those scene weren't that good. The best part was when the bad guy said "Ladies keep your eyes closed, and men, get a good look" but only because it just was a good quote, yet it had nothing to do with the movie.
This movie broke my heart.
