Refn did a half decent job with Bronson and Drive, sadly he believed so much of his own hype, that he felt he could make a film without the need for ANY plot. It seems he's relying on visual shocks and strong neon soaked cinematography.
The latter is solid enough, but the supposedly shocking violence is both over hyped and yawn inducing. Piss poor.
