Visually spectacular! Nicolas Winding Refn sure knows what to do with colour contrast. Unfortunately, he does not even come close to the overall greatness that Drive was, but that can't really be expected.
He keeps working on his style like a painter, Only God Forgives is a very successful experiment in that aspect. The narrative is not all that great though, and the recognizably slow pacing can be tedious and unfitting at times.
