Review of Only God Forgives (2013) by Nate 2 — 31 May 2014
Considerably more neon and less coherence than NWR and Ryan Gosling's previous film "Drive". Seems to have sacrificed plot and substance for visual style and uncertain atmosphere - it's only 90 mins but the pace is so slow it feels longer.
It's also incredibly violent in places. Probably for serious fans of RG and NWR only.
