From a western cinema standpoint, "Ong Bak 2" is a shallow story about an orphan who learns how to use weapons and martial arts and seeks revenge on those who killed his parents. It's a cliched story in America (and other countries).
"Ong Bak 2" fails at using flashbacks (FAILS!) They do nothing to deepen the story. 2 stars for Tony Jaa and his crazy stunt work and kick-butt skills.
