Review of One Week (2008) by Philip C — 09 Jul 2009
While far from being one of the best movies ever made, this still actually entertained me for an hour and a half.
I knew right from when I first saw the trailer I wanted to see this movie, and it was pretty much exactly what I was expecting.
It's a very Canadian film, and this was something I really liked about the movie. It really show cases some of the beautiful scenery that this country of mine has, but yet has probably greatly overlooked.
About 3 quarters of the way though the film takes a bit of a bad turn and slows down with a scene that was totally unnecessary, but once past that, the film follows it's course.
This is not a 'fast-paced' film, but I recommend it for the Canadiana and for it's beautiful cinematography.
