Review of One Week (2008) by Frederick M — 29 Nov 2009
This was a nice and surprisingly good film for me. Both funny and sad and perfectly quirky. A young man finds out he has inoperable cancer and a very short time to live. In a knee jerk reaction he decided to drop everything in life and head off on a motorcycle adventure across Canada.
. lots of oddball things made the movie interesting. The characters revealed themselves nicely throughout the story. I like the constant confrontation with his fiancée. The stop at Terry Fox's statute in Thunder Bay was particularly nice.
. A good film with a good sense of humor about how to handle life and all it throws at you.
